About the role

This position reports to the Head of Discipline Exercise & Sport Science in the School of Health Sciences. The role comprises of course writing, teaching and research within the field of Exercise and Sport Science, specifically in the domain of Exercise Anatomy, Physiology, Health & Disease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high quality teaching in exercise and sport science that is informed by research and incorporates innovative online learning activities and assessments to ensure a high level of student satisfaction and pastoral care.
  • Course writing and delivery experience across multiple disciplines of exercise and sport science.
  • Maintaining involvement in professional activity, including current or eligibility for registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES).

 

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • Possess or working towards a PhD, or Masters qualification in Exercise & Sport Science
  • Hold or are eligible for registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES)
  • Experience writing and delivering engaging Exercise and Sport Science-specific content.
